Alexandra Grayson

Legislative Fellow

Alexandra Grayson is the Legislative Fellow for ESP Advisors and in her final semester at Howard University where she will graduate with a degree in Environmental Science and minors in Economics and Biology. During her undergraduate career, she has conducted research with the National Center for Environmental Information and the Northeast Fisheries Science Center as a NOAA Undergraduate Scholar. She most recently served as a Policy Intern at the National Offshore Wind Research and Development Consortium.

Alexandra’s scientific background in addition to her Congressional, federal agency, and nonprofit experience allows her to provide valuable policy information and strategy support to clients.

A Baltimore native, Alexandra can be found advocating for a sustainable future in the Chesapeake Bay region in her roles as a Chesapeake Bay Foundation Trustee and Baltimore Sustainability Commissioner.

A Homemade Peet’s Dark Roast.

Which marine animal deserves a shout-out? Why? 

I’m a big fan of any and all benthos, but especially those like the Blue mussel who can improve water quality and biodiversity.

What are you listening to or reading right now?

I’m reading a lot of textbooks right now.

I love shows created and produced by Issa Rae.
