Newly-inaugurated President Biden is moving quickly on a progressive agenda, including signing more executive actions in such a short period of time than any other president. If you're having trouble keeping up, you are not alone!

Biden is expected to sign some economic-focused executive orders today, including increasing food assistance and ensuring the previously approved stimulus checks make it to Americans who haven’t received them yet. He plans to outline a Buy American action on Monday, followed by a focus on racial equity Tuesday, climate change on Wednesday, health care on Thursday, and immigration on Friday next week.

Here's a list of the Executive Actions President Biden signed in his first 1.5 days in office:

CLIMATE (2)

  • Re-entering the Paris Climate Agreement

  • Executive Order on Protecting Public Health and the Environment and Restoring Science to Tackle the Climate Crisis which included:

    • An immediate review of all agency actions taken during the Trump era,

    • An immediate review of Trump’s national monument modifications, including the Northeast Canyons and Seamounts Marine National Monument

    • A temporary moratorium on implementation of the Coastal Plain Oil and Gas Leasing Program in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge

    • Reinstating ban on oil and gas drilling in the Bering sea

    • (re)Establishing an Interagency Working Group on the Social Cost of Greenhouse Gases

    • Revoking the Keystone XL Pipeline permit

    • Revoking additional EOs including: Waters of the United States rule, promoting energy independence, America-first offshore energy strategy, Energy infrastructure and economic growth, efficient federal operations, establishing discipline and accountability in the environmental review and permitting process for infrastructure projects,

    • Rescinding the Council on Environmental Quality’s Draft National Environmental Policy Act Guidance on Consideration of Greenhouse Gas Emissions
