Sea to Shining Sea: An America 250 Ocean Celebration

Please join the Oceans Caucus Foundation, Ocean Conservancy, Environmental Defense Fund, and ESP Advisors on July 21 for a reception celebrating 250 years of America’s enduring connection to the ocean, the 50th anniversary of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act of 1976, and the 20th anniversary of the NOAA Marine Debris Program established through the Marine Debris Act of 2006.


Bringing together congressional staff, ocean policy leaders, and members of the broader ocean community, this reception will celebrate the ocean’s vital role in our nation’s history, economy, culture, security, and prosperity, while highlighting the importance of scientific discovery, exploration, conservation, and stewardship in sustaining healthy ocean ecosystems, supporting coastal communities, and strengthening our nation’s ocean future for generations to come.
