PRESS RELEASE: ESP Advisors Strengthens Leadership Team With New Executive Vice President

WASHINGTON, D.C. — ESP Advisors is pleased to announce that Martha Newell-Kinsman is joining the policy and communications firm as Executive Vice President. In her new role, she will oversee client deliverables and the company’s operations as the firm continues to grow.

Newell-Kinsman brings leadership and experience from the military, Capitol Hill, and the non-profit sector to her new role at ESP Advisors.

“Martha is talented, hardworking, and politically-savvy, and she knows natural resource issues inside and out,” said Emily Patrolia, Founder & President of ESP Advisors. “Her experience will be invaluable to our clients and our team, and we’re thrilled to have her onboard in this leadership role.”

Martha served four years as a medic in the U.S. Army, and after pursuing a graduate degree in zoology at the University of Hawaii, later spent three years as the natural resources staffer for Congressman Don Young (R-AK). Working for the Dean of the House and co-chair of the House Oceans Caucus, Martha prioritized bipartisanship and reaching across the aisle for compromise. She wrote and passed legislation pertaining to public lands management, energy, fisheries and wildlife management, and ocean health, among others. Most recently, she was a federal policy manager for Ceres, a sustainability non-profit working with businesses and investors to advocate for a clean energy economy.

“I am thrilled to be part of such a creative and effective group of policy and communications experts,” said Newell-Kinsman. “I firmly believe the way to win policy victories is by pursuing bipartisan solutions, and ESP Advisors fills that niche for oceans. I am excited to join ESP Advisors as we continue to grow and drive success for our clients.”
