*Folks without a Congressional staff badge will have to be escorted. Staff from Mr. Cline's office will be standing by to escort groups of up to 15 to the briefing room. Please arrive early. The briefing will begin promptly at noon
Walking Directions to the Hospitality Room (HC-5) in the Capitol Building
Enter the Capitol from the “South Door Entrance” off of Independence Ave. When inside the door, go through security and stop there at the appointment desk and pick up a badge that indicates you are cleared to go to room HC-5. You will need to show I.D. and cannot bring in any liquids. From the appointment desk, walk straight down the main hall (statues will be on either side) then:
- Make a LEFT at second hallway (first hallway is right in front of security).
- Walk to end of this hallway and on the RIGHT there will be elevators.
- Take elevators to BASEMENT LEVEL (B)
- After exiting the elevator, make a RIGHT (down ramp) and then another RIGHT into the next hallway.
- HC-5 will be in front of you (there are steps in front of the door).
